What does your score mean?

The Investability Score runs from 0–100, like a credit score for fundraising readiness.

85–100
Top Tier
Exceptional for your stage. Strong signal to investors — this startup stands out.
70–84
Investor-Ready
Meets most expectations for your stage. Likely to get real investor conversations.
50–69
Developing
Solid foundation, but needs stronger proof, traction, or clarity before serious fundraising.
30–49
Early Stage
Some promise, but key pieces are missing. Most investors will pass at this stage.
0–29
Not Ready Yet
Significant gaps that need to be addressed before approaching investors.
A score of 70 means you're ready to pitch seriously. A score below 50 means investors will see major risk. See what a Premium Report tells you →

From zero to investor-ready

The same workflow thousands of founders have used to walk into fundraising conversations knowing exactly where they stand — and exactly what to say.

What the Premium Report actually tells you

Premium Report · $10
🔍
The questions investors will ask you — before they ask them
Your premium report identifies the open questions a VC would have about your company right now, based on your specific profile — so you can answer them before you walk into the room, not while you're in it.
🔗
Cross-dimensional analysis — how your weaknesses compound
A weak traction score doesn't just affect traction. X1 identifies how gaps in one dimension create doubt in another — the compounding effects that matter most to investors evaluating risk.
📐
Stage-specific benchmarks — not generic advice
Your analysis is calibrated against what's expected at your exact stage. What counts as strong traction at pre-seed is different from Series A. X1 knows the difference and tells you where you actually stand.
🎯
A prioritized action plan — by impact on your score
Not a list of things to improve. A ranked action plan showing which specific changes will move your Investability Score the most — so you fix what matters first, not what's easiest.

Everyone reads pitch decks.
X1 evaluates companies.

Startup funding decisions are based on your company, not your slides. Pitch deck feedback is an opinion. The X1 Investability Score is an objective, data-driven evaluation of your actual company — built on the criteria that matter to the investors writing the funding checks.

The old way — pitch deck reviews & everyone else
Pitch deck review: analyzes your slides, not your company
Generic pitch deck feedback: "strengthen your market slide"
Qualitative opinions from one reviewer's perspective
One-time pitch deck evaluation — no way to track progress
Private report no investor has ever seen or uses for decisions
Tells you what's wrong with your pitch. Doesn't tell you what to do.
The X1 way — VC-grade analysis
Analyzes your actual company: market, team, traction, financials
Specific benchmarks — exactly what to fix to move your score
Objective 7-dimension scoring — the same lens every VC uses
Update anytime — track your improvement as you execute
Shared standard recognized by investors across the X1 ecosystem
Tells you what's wrong, why, and your action plan to fix it

Your score. The new standard.

X1 Investability Scores are used across the ecosystem — from founding teams preparing to pitch, to accelerators standardizing their intake process.

I honestly loved the report and if it is really an AI in the back, I have to say it is super spot on… this is exactly the feedback we got from investors.

What is the X1 Investability Score?
The Investability Score is an AI-generated evaluation of your startup across 7 investor-defined dimensions: Problem, Founder, Team, Technology, Market, Conditions, and Traction. It produces a single composite score (0–100) plus a detailed breakdown — giving you the exact picture a VC sees when they evaluate your company.
What's the difference between a basic and premium report?
The basic report gives you your Investability Score and a 7-dimension breakdown summary — free users get 2 basic evaluations per month, and all basic reports for every published startup on X1 are visible for free. The premium report is the full investment-grade analysis: detailed dimension scoring, specific improvement benchmarks, competitive positioning, risk assessment, and an action plan prioritizing exactly what to fix to improve your score and your fundability. Premium reports cost $10 each, or are included (5/month) with a subscription.
How is X1 different from other startup analysis tools?
Most tools analyze your pitch deck. X1 analyzes your actual company. We evaluate the same dimensions a VC evaluates — market size, team quality, traction signals, competitive moat, unit economics trajectory, and more. The result isn't a design critique or generic feedback. It's an objective, scored, investment-grade analysis of your company's fundability. And unlike one-off reports, you can update it anytime as you grow.
How do accelerators and investor networks use X1?
The simplest approach: just ask applicants to share their X1 Startup Profile link when applying. You instantly get a standardized, objective evaluation of every startup — no integration required. Accelerators use this to screen cohort applicants, conferences use it for pitch day selection, and investor networks use it to sort deal flow. It replaces the first pass of pitch deck reading with objective data.
Is the score objective? Can it be gamed?
The score is driven by real company data — not narrative or slide design. X1 evaluates the quality and substance of your answers, not how well you present them. Inflating answers without the underlying substance will show up in the analysis. The 7 dimensions are weighted and cross-referenced so inconsistencies are detected. The goal isn't a high score — it's an accurate score that helps you identify your real gaps.
How often can I update my score?
Free users get 2 basic evaluations per month. Premium evaluations cost $10 each, or you can subscribe for 5 premium evaluations per month plus view all premium reports for every startup published on X1. There's no limit on how often you re-evaluate — each run is a fresh score reflecting your current state. This is one of X1's most powerful uses: identify your key gaps, fix them, then re-run before you pitch. Investors on X1 see your most recent score.
Do investors actually use the Investability Score?
Yes — investors and scouts on X1 can filter and sort startups by Investability Score. This means your score isn't just a self-assessment tool — it's a discovery signal. A startup with a score of 80+ shows up at the top of investor searches. The score is becoming a standard part of how investors screen deal flow before engaging with a founder directly.
What information do I need to get started?
Getting your basic score is free and takes about 10 minutes. You'll answer structured questions about your company: what you build, who you sell to, your current traction, team background, market size, and competitive landscape. You don't need a polished pitch deck — X1 evaluates the substance of your answers. The more honest and detailed your inputs, the more accurate and actionable your score will be.
