By accessing or using the X1 Pipeline platform at x1pipeline.com or the associated web application, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.
If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms. In that case, "you" refers to the organization as well as the individual accessing the Service.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We will provide notice of material changes via email or a prominent notice on the platform.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature or aspect of the Service at any time, with or without notice, and without liability to you.
To use the Service, you must be at least 18 years of age and capable of forming a binding contract. The Service is intended for use by founders, investors, organizations, advisors, and career professionals engaged in the startup and innovation ecosystem.
You must create an account to access most features of the platform. When registering, you agree to:
Each individual or organization may maintain only one active account unless explicitly authorized by X1 Pipeline in writing. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits or access restrictions is prohibited.
X1 Pipeline offers a free tier that provides limited access to platform features. Free tier users may use the X1 AI Advisor (v1) for up to 5 questions per month. Other feature limits may apply and are subject to change.
Paid subscribers receive expanded access to platform features. Subscriber tier users may use the X1 AI Advisor (v1) for up to 50 questions per month. Additional benefits and limits are described on the Pricing page and may be updated from time to time.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access to paid features until that date. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods.
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:
We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action — including suspension or termination of accounts — against anyone who, in our sole discretion, violates these provisions.
The Service, including all software, algorithms, AI models, designs, text, graphics, logos, and other content provided by X1 Pipeline, is owned by X1 Pipeline Inc. and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property except as expressly set forth herein.
You retain ownership of any content, data, or information you submit to the platform ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant X1 Pipeline a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, process, and analyze your User Content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service, you grant X1 Pipeline the right to use such feedback without restriction or compensation to you. We are not obligated to implement any feedback.
Reports, scores, and other AI-generated outputs delivered to you through the Service are licensed for your internal business use only. You may not resell, redistribute, or sublicense these outputs without prior written consent from X1 Pipeline.
X1 Pipeline uses artificial intelligence to generate Investability Scores, evaluations, advisor responses, investor matches, and other outputs. You acknowledge and agree to the following:
X1 Pipeline is not a registered investment advisor, broker-dealer, or financial institution. Nothing on the platform should be construed as a solicitation or offer to buy or sell any security or investment.
The Service may integrate with or link to third-party platforms, services, or data sources (collectively, "Third-Party Services"). Your use of any Third-Party Services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies, not these Terms.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION. X1 PIPELINE DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS OR THAT ANY ERRORS WILL BE CORRECTED.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, X1 PIPELINE AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND LICENSORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES — INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, OR LOSS OF GOODWILL — ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
IN NO EVENT SHALL X1 PIPELINE'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO X1 PIPELINE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).
The disclaimers and limitations in this section are a fundamental element of the basis of the bargain between X1 Pipeline and you. The Service would not be provided without these limitations.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless X1 Pipeline Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to:
X1 Pipeline reserves the right to assume exclusive control of the defense of any matter subject to indemnification by you, and you agree to cooperate with our defense of such claims.
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time by contacting us at info@x1pipeline.com or through your account settings. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of any prepaid fees except as required by law.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to:
Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property rights, disclaimers, indemnification, and limitation of liability — will continue to apply.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of South Carolina, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising under or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Charleston County, South Carolina.
Before initiating any formal legal proceeding, you agree to contact X1 Pipeline and attempt to resolve any dispute informally. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve disputes through good-faith negotiation within 30 days of receiving written notice.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and X1 Pipeline with respect to the Service and supersede all prior agreements.
